Provide technical solutions based on SAP s ASAP/RUNSAP Methodologies and Best Practices. Provide support in the implementation and configuration of new hardware and software systems. Perform Impact analysis of new SAP releases to the current SAP System Landscape. Perform installations, upgrades, support packages, EHP s and apply SNOTES as required. Perform System/Client Copies and Post Installation Tasks as required for testing. Configure and maintain the Change and Transport Strategy for ABAP and NON-APAB systems. Perform configuration and troubleshooting for CRM Middleware, ALE and PI integration points. Configure/troubleshoot Communication Methods: SPENGO/Kerberos, SSL, SNC, PKI Infrastructure, SSO technologies and Web Dispatcher support. Maintain/Administer the SAP Landscape using Solution Manager Tools: LMDB, SLD, Root Cause Analysis, Wily Introscope, Technical Monitoring and System Administration. Ensure parameters for SAP Applications, Database settings, and Standard SAP Housekeeping jobs are configured to provide optimal performance for the SAP Landscape. Review and Implement SAP recommendations based on EarlyWatch Reports. Provide Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning as required for the SAP Landscape. Provide integration support for 3rd Party Products/Applications: Vertex, Rightfax, Robot Scheduler, Uperform, IQuotes, Delego/Cybersource and Legacy Systems. Mentor SAP Basis Operators in the installation/maintenance of the SAP System Landscape. Maintain consistent communication with department and functional areas within the company, while working on issues or projects. Understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, via e-mail or diagram form. Create/Maintain documentation relating to Basis process and procedures. Complete Projects and or assigned task within defined time lines. Be knowledgeable of all departments or groups SOPs. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Computing a minimum of 5+ years of prior recent SAP Basis administration experience having advanced knowledge of SAP ECC, HCM, BW, PI, EP, BOE,GRC, J2EE/ABAP Architecture and Solution Manager. Must have experience in designing, installing, administrating, testing and on-going maintenance of SAP Software Releases on Iseries and Windows based Platforms. Analyzing system requirements, service patch administration, managing change requests, configuration of standard solutions, testing SAP administration functions of all major components of SAP, ECC, BI, EP, HCM, CRM, BOE, GRC, PI and Solution Manager. Extensive experience in configuring/troubleshooting CRM Middleware, ALE, and PI integrations. Extensive hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting in SAP Landscapes. Experience in SAP (ABAP+ JAVA) systems in virtualized environment. Ability to work independently and have strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to translate business requirements into a set of technical requirements. Must be available to provide after hour support as required.
