Job Summary:


The Manager, HRIS managesHuman Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure accurate data capture andeffective system processes. Oversees HRIS systems functionality, datamanagement, interface with other enterprise systems, HR reporting andanalytics. Leads systems implementations and upgrades. Manages day-to-dayactivities of the HRIS team.





PrimaryResponsibilities:


  • Manages development, installation, testing, and modification of HRIS systemto ensure accurate data capture and effective system processes.
  • Establishes procedures for updating, validating, and correctingemployee records or other HR related data.
  • Oversees maintenance of internal database files and tables.
  • Develops and maintains standard reports or queries and creates customqueries on an ad hoc basis.
  • Develops HR customized reports and dashboards utilizing the necessaryreporting/BI tools to meet the requirements of company management and staff.
  • Ensures reporting consistency and standardization.
  • Serves as a lead of the systems implementations and upgrades, patches and HRIStesting as needed.
  • Manages creation of system documentation or training programs.
  • Makes recommendations for continued process improvements, systemenhancements and new applications to support business strategies andoperational needs.
  • Serves asa technical point-of-contact for the data management and assists subject matterexperts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writingand analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Manages day-to-day activities of the HRIS team to support the HR,Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and other interrelated functions.
  • Supervises HRIS staff, coaches, analyzes workload, determines workpriority, assigns duties and oversees work progress.
  • Performs annual staff performance evaluations and develops criteriafor employee development and discipline situations.
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on productand service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.Examines trends in information systems training, materials and techniques andrecommends improvements.
  • Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuouslyincreases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:


Required:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business or in a related field
  • 7 years experience administering ADP and other HR applications
  • 3 years supervisory experience
  • Experience in ADP system implementation/upgrade
  • Experience in HR reporting


Preferred:

  • HRIS administrationexperience in a global organization

  • Directlyreports to the Director, ADP
